WHY WAS THIS MADE?

Despite failing to reach a decent audience back in the '80s, when Darkplace reached British screens in 2004 a la Channel 4, the limited series has made its mark on the minds of Britain and as Dean Learner once said, "Garth's place in history is assured." 

When the series was published on DeanVD in 2006, the series had a limitless gain in viewers and admirers [and therefore, profits]. Darkplace had made a reputation among the minds of many, through word-of-mouth and was subsequently aired in the United States.

Thus, no series deserves to be celebrated more than Darkplace. Its radicalism and scariness has left a scar on many around the world, and through the Odyssey, it will continue to do so.

WHAT ARE THE CHANGES?

In Darkplace Odyssey, you can expect to see a new colour grade by The Phoenix Project Video. Gone are the obsolete warm-sepia tones of the Kodak 16mm film, giving the series a new cold, supernatural authentic look.

So, dim the lights, or switch them off if you don't have dimmers, and be more immersed in Garth Marenghi's televisual masterpiece than you ever have been before.
